MaxFenol is a unique proprietary botanical blend of 22 polyphenols-rich extract from fruits and vegetables scientifically proven important in human health and diseases.

Polyphenol and Human Disease

Studies have shown that consumption of a diet rich in polyphenolic compounds is associated with protection against the risk of chronic human disease. This is because of an increase of plasma antioxidant capacity by the presence of reducing polyphenol and their metabolites in plasma, their effects upon concentration of other reducing agents or by their effect on the absorption of pro-oxidative food components. The evidence has shown polyphenol antioxidants may protect cells from oxidative damage thus reducing the risk of diseases connected with oxidative stress (1).

Antioxidant Activity

Polyphenols are one the main contributors to the total antioxidant activities of fruits other than vitamin C (2).
